The Bulldog baseball team is set to begin its annual Fall World Series Friday night at 6 p.m. at J. C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.

The Bulldogs start a five-game series, continuing through the weekend and into next week, as they are split into two teams and compete against each other.

Like every year, the teams are drafted and coached by the seniors on the team without any assistance from head coach Wade Simoneaux.

The Grey team will be coached by infielder Alex Williams, while the Black team will be led by a set of seniors, outfielder Justin Gordey and pitcher Graham Meyers.

After Friday’s game, the series will continue Sunday at 3 p.m.

The teams will take two days off before resuming play Wednesday and Friday at 6 p.m. and concluding the series Saturday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to show up in support of the team and get a peek of the upcoming season.
