Tech's institutional bookstore is transitioning into a Barnes & Noble store in order to meet the demands of the textbook industry.

Professors propose solutions for Gulf clean-up

Several Institution for Micromaufacturing faculty members have presented a variety of scientific studies to aid in the concentrated effort to clean up the oil spill along the Gulf Coast.

IfM professors prepared these solutions in order to have an appropriate response to present to state government.

GRAD Act causes tuition increase

Louisiana House Bill 1171, the Granting Resources and Autonomy for Diplomas Act, became law June 29. This law, now known as Act 741, gives Louisiana colleges and universities the right to raise tuition and mandatory fees without a two-thirds approval of the Legislature.

Former Wyly Junior Fellows teach debate to students in Jordan

Nick Ducote and Robbie Reeves led a lab group at the Four Star Debate camp located in Anwar, Jordan, this summer.

Ducote, a senior political science major, and Reeves, a Tech alumnus, were both the Wyly Junior Fellow at the National Center for Policy Analysis through the Tech political science program during the spring and summer quarter of their junior year, said Jason Pigg, associate professor of political science.

3 Docs brings more options to Ruston nightlife

3 Docs Brew House, the newest addition to Ruston nightlife, will be opening its doors Saturday, July 24 in the Que Stick's previous location on West Alabama Avenue.

Renovations began in April to change the existing design of the building to create a new atmosphere for bar-oers of all kinds.
