Abstract:
Athletics Director Derek Dooley met with members of the media June 4 to announce a new partnership with Community Trust Bank and plans for a video board at Joe Aillet Stadium.
I honestly think this purchase is ridiculous. Why in a time of economic turmoil would you spend 2 million dollars on a score board for a school who is more academic than athletic. I went to the season opener and while the board was very nice it was completely unneeded, much too large for the stadium which is on the smaller side. I would much rather see that go to somewhere where it is more needed, which is many areas at the moment.
